Elena Pita (Ares, A Coruña, September '62) is an interviewer and storyteller, and also works in the field of communication. She graduated in journalism (to her regret) from the Complutense University of Madrid, but above all she studied in newspaper newsrooms from the age of 19, in art and literature, and in the streets of European cities where she lived, traveled, and learned languages. She joined the founding staff of the newspaperEl Mundoin September '89 and has been there until now, dedicated to international politics, culture, and, above all, interviews (to the death) for weekend supplements.
