To boost quality tourism and promote the legacy of the America's Cup linked to the blue economy. With this dual objective, Turisme de Barcelona has launched three new products linked to the competition, with proposals ranging from helicopter flights to the possibility of witnessing the competition on board next to the regatta course. And it is that "the America's Cup is a unique opportunity to further improve the profile of our visitor, diversifying the city's tourist offer and giving more value to the nautical and sailing sector," defended the president of Turisme de Barcelona, Jordi Clos.

Specifically, the new products include the America's Cup 360 card, which allows visitors to experience the regatta by sea, land, and air. To do this, it offers a panoramic helicopter flight along the coast of Barcelona and the possibility of watching the competition aboard a boat from the regatta course, as well as guided tours in Golondrina to the team bases, and tours along the promenade with access to the Race Village and the America's Cup Experience interpretive center. The card, priced at around 200 euros, also includes discounts in shops, restaurants, nautical activities, museums, and leisure spaces in the Catalan capital.

For its part, the America's Cup Premium Card is aimed at a premium audience linked to agents such as the competition teams and sponsors. In this way, it is a product designed for companies, guests and people linked to sponsors and suppliers, and will be produced on demand at 1,500 euros for two people. With it, a guide will be available to get to know the city, a transfer service for getting around and restaurant reservations, among other experiences.

In addition, the consortium has created a new catalog of unique experiences in the city and the rest of Catalonia, with the aim of decentralizing and diversifying the tourist offer, which allows customizing and personalizing experiences. These products are in addition to the Barcelona Card Sea, launched a few months ago. Also promoted in collaboration with the event organization, it seeks to reinforce the practice of water sports among citizens and visitors to the Catalan capital.

The three new products have been launched coinciding with the publication of the blue tourism report prepared by the Turisme de Barcelona observatory, which concludes that tourism linked to sailing and water sports represents 5.7% of visitors who stay overnight in the city, while 11.9% is linked to a passion for sailing. In this sense, the competition aims to attract visitors from all over the world to witness the regattas that will be held on the city's coast from late August to October.
