Brief description of company and business model
Bigle Legal is a start-up based in Barcelona that is transforming the way in which companies manage their legal processes.

Companies today draft their legal documents (contracts and others) in a costly and inefficient manner. They create their documents from scratch or by copying and pasting templates: both processes require considerable time and money and mistakes can easily be made.

Bigle Legal is software that allows companies to automate the process of drafting their legal documents, eliminating human error and saving time and money. With our solution, the time to complete a contract is reduced from 120 to only 10 minutes and the risk of human error mitigated by 95%. Our solution automates the entire process: from contract drafting, revision, sending, digital signature and storage.

Why did you choose to establish the company in Barcelona?
We are from Barcelona, and we have always loved our city. However, I studied and worked in some of the major cities of the world (New York, London, Shanghai and Dubai), and I always thought it was difficult for Barcelona to offer the same. My surprise was that I came back to a city that is experiencing a real technological revolution, and for start-ups in general. I honestly think Barcelona’s time has come, it is fashionable in every way, it is becoming a very important technological hub and we would not want to miss this opportunity for anything in the world.

OTHERS

Inspiration? A model, company or business person/entrepreneur?
Working as a lawyer, Alejandro realized that the drafting of contracts requires spending a lot of time, while simultaneously being open to a real risk of making mistakes because the process is done manually adapting templates. By contrast, there was no technological tool that allowed us to automate this process and solve this problem. So we took advantage of this opportunity and we decided to leave our jobs and develop this solution.
