Tiendeo is the leading international website and app for geolocalized catalogs and offers.

By changing the way major retailers distribute their catalogs and communicate their offers to customers, the young Spanish start-up has risen until reaching an average of 53 million visits a month and 30 million users worldwide. Tiendeo has also cemented its presence in 35 countries worldwide, with headquarters in Spain, Mexico, Colombia, Chile and Brazil and a counting team of more than 140 employees.

The habits of consumers have undergone an undeniable change, both in the planning and execution of purchases, which has occurred at the same rate as the evolution of new technology.

The twins Eva and María Martín together with Jonathan Lemberger, a classmate of university, recognised this growing need and founded Tiendeo in 2011, implementing a new way to reach customers, converting the traditional mailshot into the digital mailshot. In only 7 years and 4 rounds of investment (reaching a total of less than one million euros) the company has become a leading platform in the retail sector.

The three founders have a double degree in industrial engineering from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya and from the École Centrale Paris, and Eva also holds an Executive MBA from the College des Ingenieurs.

In 2015 the twins were awarded as women entrepreneurs by the Catalan government (Premi Dona TIC Emprenedora 2015).

Barcelona is our home city and we are lucky it has become a European startup, innovation and tech city. Moreover, the Catalan government offers help for entrepreneurs to launch their businesses so we started in Barcelona Activa.
