With a new headquarters, with 13% more revenue and closer to entering net profit. This is how the Parlem group expects to close this year, in which it plans to bill between 50 and 51 million euros and practically double its gross operating profit (Ebitda) compared to last year, with more than 5.5 million in 2024. These are record figures for income and profits, in a year that will precede the one of entering net profit, which the group expects to achieve by the end of 2025.

This was announced by the group's president and founder, Ernest Pérez-Mas, and its CEO, Xavier Capellades, at the group's new corporate headquarters, in the Barcelona Chamber of Commerce building on Avenida Diagonal. The group is opening its new headquarters coinciding with the tenth anniversary of its founding, for which it has launched another announcement: the company's telecommunications division will implement 5G technology by the end of the month. In addition, it will incorporate Filmin subscription into its telephony catalog, as they have made public in an event with the platform's co-founders, Juan Carlos Tous and Jaume Ripoll.

In a context where the main operators have lowered prices by 25%, according to Capellades, the group aims to continue expanding its client portfolio by 15%, especially in Catalonia and the Valencian Community, where it operates with the Aproop brand. To this is added the Galician company Toxo, which Capellades explained that the group acquired a year and a half ago. Now, the brand is in full relaunch, in a process in which "proximity, culture and language that provide a differential value" will weigh especially. From this same perspective, the group is beginning to look towards the rest of Europe, especially in territories with unique languages or cultures where it can promote a firm that has proximity as an added value.

Within this group expansion strategy, another piece is included: the sale of its energy division. The CEO has predicted that it will occur at the end of this year or early 2025, with the aim of leaving behind its commitment to diversification and concentrating on telecommunications. Of the 49 million in revenue that the group achieved in 2023, 45 corresponded to the telco sector, while 8% came from Parlem Energia. Thus, with the sale of this division, the group will return to its origins ten years after its impulse by Pérez-Mas.

Commemorating this decade, Parlem has landed on Diagonal, with its corporate headquarters on the fourth floor of the Chamber of Commerce building and its new flagship store. Located at street level, the establishment aims to go beyond its commercial function and become an emblematic space for cultural and sports meetings and events. In an event with the Minister of Business and Labor, Miquel Sàmper, together with the president of the Chamber, Josep Santacreu; the president of Pimec, Antoni Cañete, and of Barcelona Global, Ramon Agenjo, the group has inaugurated both spaces, located a few meters from Passeig de Gràcia. Under the name Territori Parlem, the flagship aims to represent a "return to society," according to Capellades, while strengthening the group's relationship with the client.
