Factorial continues to grow, and has decided to continue doing so in Barcelona's 22@ district. The Barcelona unicorn will move in the coming months to a Colonial building within the Illacuna complex, where the company will occupy 8,000 square meters.

The recently renovated complex has a total area of 20,000 square meters distributed in three buildings. Factorial will occupy the entirety of one of these three properties, measuring 5,600 square meters, and also two floors of another, with an additional 2,400 square meters.

The company, focused on team management, has a workforce of more than 1,000 professionals. Until now, its activity has been distributed across various buildings also located in the 22@ district, with the main headquarters located on Àlaba street, less than a ten-minute walk from the company's future corporate headquarters.

"At Factorial, we are at a unique moment; we are growing at an unstoppable pace, incorporating more than 40 people into the team every week. In these times of such rapid growth, culture is more important than ever, which is why it was key to bring the entire team together in one place," highlighted Factorial's CEO, Jordi Romero.

With the operation, advised by BNP Paribas Real Estate, the company will move to a "prime asset class, which fits with Factorial's commitment to innovation," defended Colonial's business director, Albert Alcober.

Factorial's move within the 22@ district joins other movements and investments that are landing in the technology district. In fact, the 22@ closed last year with a contracting of around 80,000 square meters, the second best figure in the last five years, which represented about a third of the city's total.
