Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) continues to take steps to compete head-to-head with the other major trade show held in the city, the Mobile World Congress (MWC). For its 20th anniversary edition, from January 30 to February 2, 2024, the audiovisual fair plans to gain two more pavilions at Fira de Barcelona's Gran Via venue, in addition to enabling the complex's north access, allowing its attendees to arrive through any of the three available entrances.
The show arrived in the city just three years ago, with covid forcing a very reduced version, and has been overcoming the bump, conquering more space year after year. For 2024, it will grow 17% in Gran Via, with only pavilion 8.1, the furthest of all, remaining to be occupied. Nothing like the 4,000 square meters it occupied in 2021 and also surpassing the 45,000 square meters of 2022 and the almost 57,000 square meters of this year.
The new pavilions that ISE will incorporate next year will be 1 and 4, previously destined for the IOT Solutions World Congress (IOTSWC), a fair organized by Fira de Barcelona dedicated to presenting technologies that are transforming the industry. After two joint editions, the IOTSWC will become independent and will be held from May 21 to 23, 2024.
"ISE 2024 is already set to be the biggest edition to date," celebrates its managing director, Mike Blackman. For now, it already has 80 new confirmed exhibitors. This year, the audiovisual fair gathered more than 58,000 congress attendees and featured more than 1,000 exhibitors.
