The Born neighborhood once again brings its stoves to the street. For the second time this year, Barcelona Born Gourmet organizes an open-air tasting of the most representative dishes from the area's restaurants, with the participation of seventeen establishments and select food shops, "references of Barcelona's gastronomy," according to the event organizers.
From September 30 to October 2, as an epilogue to the La Mercè festivities, Pla de Palau hosts the tenth edition of Born Street Food with live culinary shows, wine tastings, fresh product sales, and live music from the neighborhood's DJs.
The festival maintains its essence compared to the summer edition, although for this occasion its gastronomic proposals will be more in line with the autumn season. The organizers expect an increase in the number of local visitors and estimate that close to 15,000 people will visit the venue and taste around 20,000 dishes over the three days.
The offer will remain practically intact, with Restaurant 7 Portes, Ikoya, and Grupo Sagardi heading the lineup, in addition to El Foro, Euskal Etxea, Golfo de Vizcaya, Tapeo, Pork… boig per tu, Oaxaca Cuina Mexicana, Sagàs Pagesos i Cuiners, Restaurant Cadaqués, Cofraria de pescadors de Barcelona, and Bronzo Bar e Cucina, along with Bodega Vidrios y Cristales, Vila Viniteca, and Guzzo Gastroclub.
Access to the venue is free, but a minimum consumption of three tickets is required, which can be purchased at the entrance. The doors will open at twelve noon and diners can enjoy the dishes until midnight on Friday and Saturday, while on Sunday closing will be at ten at night.
