"Madrid is a diverse and international city." This is one of the statements launched by the Nuclio Digital School bootcamp on its online platform to explain why it has just opened a physical campus in Madrid, which joins the one it already has in Barcelona, after the pandemic aborted the project that was to start last year and that remained solely an online training offer.
After four years operating physically and digitally from Barcelona, the new campus has been launched, located in the center of Madrid, specifically in an 800 square meter building at number 12 Núñez de Balboa street, with a capacity for about 200 people.
The opening is part of the training center's expansion plans, which also include doubling the internal staff from the current 73 employees (not including teachers) to the 150 planned by the end of 2022.
The incorporation of the Madrid campus will result in the growth of this project co-founded by entrepreneurs Carlos Blanco and Jared Gil, who is also the CEO of the training center, who expect to double their turnover this year, and who are already working to open a campus in Lisbon (Portugal) during this first semester.
Nuclio Digital School, which last September received an investment of one million euros from Banco Sabadell, through its venture capital division Sabadell Venture Capital, offers courses to acquire digital and technological skills with the purpose of developing digital talent and covering the demand required by national and international startups.
In this vein, and following a global agreement signed with Binance, one of the main providers of blockchain and cryptocurrency infrastructure in the world, the center has just launched a new blockchain master's degree, with the aim of training 1,000 professionals in the most innovative aspects of this technology. The school is also finalizing the launch, next May, of the master's degree in Digital Business and Entrepreneurship.
Entrepreneurs Carlos Blanco and Jared Gil plan to open another campus in Lisbon this yearThe school uses its own methodology based on practical sessions with few students, which favors personalized learning both in face-to-face and instreaming. These training courses, taught with a study methodology focused onacquire practical and specific knowledge related to software development (bootcamp)consist of intensive programs for the student to develop knowledge in a short period of time and be able to apply it in the professional field as soon as possible.
