“We started Nomade Nation with the idea that a camper could be designed like a house, and not simply equipped like a vehicle.” This will of Ignasi Ribó when founding the Barcelona startup has been shaping vans for comfortable travel, and a company that has grown to expect to close this year with 11 million euros in revenue. Now, it will accelerate this growth after raising 1.8 million euros.
The company, founded in 2022 and with a factory in Montcada i Reixac, has closed a financing round led by Prodinco, with the participation of its current investors. The new capital injection comes at a time of acceleration for the company, which has gone from exploring the possibilities of a little-digitalized market with designs that had barely evolved for years to manufacturing its own vehicles and selling them in different European markets.
In this context, Nomade Nation expects to close this year practically doubling the 2025 revenue of six million euros. In addition, the leap is accompanied by another milestone for the company: this year it has crossed the line and achieved positive results for the first time.
Nomade Nations' entry into profits has come by following the same objective with which Ribó launched the startup four years ago: to bring design and comfort to the camper universe, to make it accessible to people who might find traveling in a van attractive but who ruled it out looking for more comfort.
This approach was translated into a range that currently has four models —Neo, Neo S, Space and Space S— and which will soon grow with two new proposals. The second production line recently incorporated in Montcada i Reixac will allow this growth to be accompanied and the company's industrial capacity to be increased.
To sell its vans, Nomade Nation has an international distribution network in France, Belgium, Germany, Italy and Denmark. During 2027, the company plans to strengthen its presence in these markets, increasing the number of points of sale and especially improving its service and after-sales network.
In addition, part of the investment will be allocated to the development of the brand's own network. After opening its space in Valencia, Nomade Nation will inaugurate a new dealership in Terrassa (Barcelona) in September, close to its production center in Montcada, and plans to open a second establishment in the Community of Madrid by mid-2027.
Thus, four years after launching the startup, Nomade Nation "sells in five European markets, has achieved positive results and is entering a new stage," according to Ribó: "This round allows us to accelerate a model that we have already shown works."

This growth will also have a digital dimension. Coinciding with the Caravan Salon in Düsseldorf, one of the major European showcases for the sector, Nomade Nation will launch a new platform from which customers can configure their vehicles, explore financing options, request tests, and manage after-sales services.
In Montcada i Reixac, meanwhile, the company will continue to increase its manufacturing capacity and its team, currently made up of about 40 professionals. The new round will accelerate these processes and this path towards the startup's goal: to allow travelers to discover the world nomadically, feeling at home.
