Sant Jordi is a day of roses, books, legends, dragons and, also, music. The Old Estrella Damm Factory will once again celebrate the Diada with musical performances by Catalan artists, who will provide the soundtrack to a day that will also include album signings, gastronomic proposals and a market for books, vinyls, roses and articles that, in addition to being about the theme of Sant Jordi, will have a charitable purpose.

Figa Flawas, La Fúmiga, Els Amics de les Arts, Blaumut, Scorpio, Meritxell Neddermann, Lildami and Triquell will be some of the 22 artists who will star in this year's Sant Jordi Musical, in an event that will start at 12 noon and will last until 9 pm in the old factory premises, at number 515 Rosselló street in the Catalan capital.

The artists will not only perform, but will also sign albums for attendees, emulating the traditional book signing that fills the streets for Sant Jordi. Not only the singers and groups that will perform during the day will do so, but other artists will join them, including La Pegatina, 31 FAM, or Flashy Ice Cream.

The Sant Jordi Musical also reserves a relevant role for gastronomy, with gastronomic proposals by local foodtrucks. The former industrial site will be filled with the smells and flavors of Onze Frankfurts, the tacos from Salsa, the fish from The Fish&Chips Shop, the crêpes from María Una Crep, the milanesas from Chalito and the hamburgers from Fileteando.

Despite the prominent role of records, books will also be present. They can be bought in a market by The Store Team, where, of course, second-hand vinyls and CDs can also be found, always with music as the protagonist. The eternal companion of the book in Sant Jordi, the rose, will also have its role, with a marked charitable character. The event will feature a solidarity stall of both natural and artisanal roses, which will also include Sant Jordi-themed details made by social entities, and a workshop to stamp cloth bags, which will be carried out by the SaóPrat entity.

Other entities that will sign the solidarity products will be the Associació Diversitat Funcional d'Osona, the Centre Especial de Treball Apunts, Creu Roja, Amics de la Gent Gran, Fundació Finestrelles, Fundació Portolà, Fundació Roure, Vicente Ferrer and the Hospital Sant Joan de Déu. The profits from the market will be allocated to Creu Roja and its Extreme Vulnerability program. In addition, Damm has organized a book collection among the company's collaborators, and the profits from its sale will be allocated to educational programs of the Fundació Servei Solidari, taking the culture that accompanies Sant Jordi beyond the diada.
