More than 100 performances will be brought together in the new edition of the Brunch Electronik Festival, an event held at the Parc del Fòrum and featuring performances by great electronic artists such as Kaytranada, Jeff Mills, Eric Prydz, and The Blaze (DJ set). For this year, the festival organization has opted for technical innovations that will improve the audience's experience: new stages, better sound, and a step forward to reinforce sustainability.
The event will be from August 7 to 9, a weekend in which the city of Barcelona will become the pulse of European electronic music with some of the most prominent national and international DJs. It will be the fourth edition of this festival, which has its roots in the old Piknic Electronik, held in Montjuïc, and which has now become one of the most anticipated festivals of August in Barcelona.
The lineup of the Brunch Electronik Festival features exclusives and great live shows
There are several headliners at this Brunch Electronik Festival 2026. On one hand, we have the Canadian producer Kaytranada, who will offer at the Fòrum his only performance in the entire peninsula this year with his proposal that moves between electronic music, hip-hop, and R&B.
The artist will share the spotlight with the French duo Cassius and the collective Acid Arab, who will be responsible for carrying out the two live performances in live format they will offer in the country this 2026. Other prominent artists on this edition's lineup are the British Floating Points and Paul Kalkbrenner.
But there are many more. On Friday, August 7, the festival will kick off led by Detroit legend Jeff Mills, by DJ Miss Monique, and by the techno of Rødhåd and Marrøn, who will be relieved by the industrial rhythms of I Hate Models and SNTS. On Saturday, August 8, the Swedish Eric Prydz and the Ibizan groove of Luciano, Jamie Jones, and Seth Troxler will perform on stage.
That same day will feature unusual and exclusive cabin encounters, such as the four-hand duel between BASHKKA and Sally C, or the unions of Âme with Trikk and Amémé alongside LP Giobbi. For Sunday, August 9, the grand finale of the festival comes from the French duo The Blaze in DJ set format.
This deployment of international artists coexists with the local Barcelona scene. Homegrown talent will be represented by key artists from the city's dancefloors such as Paula GM, Brieela, INEXXSTABLE or NHYMPH. Space will also be given to pop and new urban trends with artists like B1N0, Lildami or Flashy Ice Cream.
The festival's new stages
The Fòrum venue is completely reorganized this year with stages that aim to change the way concerts are experienced. The main stage, GrooviK, premieres a new industrial aesthetic concept with a circular roof and a two-story structure; the goal is to elevate the booth, projecting it towards the dancefloor to break the visual barrier between the DJ and the audience.
For its part, the IconiK by Yamaha stage becomes a large-format space that bets on state-of-the-art lighting technology to achieve performances with greater visual impact. The Brunch Electronik venue is completed with the Open Stage, the stage focused on the discovery of new producers through an open call until July 16, and the return of the already classic HarmoniK, EuphoriK by Estrella Damm and RhythmiK by Resident Advisor.
The party continues: afterparties of Brunch Electronik
After the daytime party at the Fòrum, the party continues at Poble Espanyol with the official afterparties. The start on Friday, August 7, offers three different atmospheres in the Poble Espanyol venues. The Input room will host the techno of Chlär and Lobster; a few steps away, Upload will offer a more underground session with MARA BRAVO, Read the News and HEANDME; while the open-air club La Terrrazza will bet on the sophisticated house of Gee Lane, Danilo Plessow (MCDE) and the tandem Kamma & Masalo.
Saturday night, August 8, will host Italian Anfisa Letyago leading the Input booth alongside Abstract Division and ANDRØMEDA. In parallel, Upload will be in the hands of Isa Rojas and Avangart Tabldot, while La Terrrazza's dancefloor will continue to the rhythm of Alice Caroline, DJ Senc, Sonar and OMOLOKO. The closing of the afterparties will take place on Sunday, August 9, but the location will change: the party moves to club NACAR, where the grand finale will be led by Greta Levska and two heavyweights of the most avant-garde sound: Fedele and Shall Ocin.
The August heat plan: free water and fruit, shade and clean energy
The Brunch Electronik organization has designed a plan to guarantee the well-being of its audience. For this reason, the venue will have four free cold water hydration points after the 90,000 liters dispensed in the previous season. To combat high temperatures, the main dance areas will have water misting systems and structures to create shade, as well as rest areas with grass and fresh fruit that will be distributed free of charge during sun hours.
To guarantee the sustainability of the event, the festival focuses on minimizing its ecological footprint with Repsol as an energy partner, using 100% renewable NEXA fuel to power its electric generators. Regarding mobility, an exclusive and free shuttle bus service will be enabled during Friday and Saturday to directly connect the Fòrum with Poble Espanyol.
This August, Barcelona will vibrate again with the best national and international electronic music thanks to the Brunch Electronik Festival. The fourth edition of an event proposes a challenge to its attendees: keep up with more than a hundred artists and extend the days until dawn at its afterparties. The countdown to Brunch 2026 has already begun.
