One more year, the Pedralbes Gardens once again become a musical stage during the month of July. Les Nits Occident return this season with a lineup of artists that brings together big international names like Sting or Diana Krall, along with national artists of the stature of Pablo López or Judit Neddermann.

An ideal opportunity to enjoy open-air concerts in the elegant setting of these gardens, where you will also find other spaces such as the Village, perfect for having a drink or a snack before your favorite artist's performance.

Mika's theatrical pop kicks off on July 2nd

Mika is one of the most anticipated artists of Les Nits Occident for his joy, color, and pure theatricality. Since he turned international charts upside down in 2007 with his Grace Kelly, achieving number 1 in the United Kingdom and six other countries, Mika has built a meteoric career that already totals more than 10 million albums sold. Works like Life in Cartoon Motion, The Origin of Love, or the recent Que ta tête fleurisse toujours show his evolution and his mastery of pop music.

Sting presents a trio format on the night of July 7th

The festival will experience one of its most historic moments with the arrival of Sting, the composer, singer-songwriter, and activist from Newcastle who began his career in 1977 leading The Police. This July 7th, he lands in Barcelona with his STING 3.0 World Tour, which is a trio with guitarist Dominic Miller and drummer Chris Maas. In this concert, Sting will review his extensive catalog of great hits, but will also present his new single I Wrote Your Name (Upon My Heart). Barcelona prepares to welcome a legend with more than 100 million records sold, 17 Grammy awards, and a place in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

Vanesa Martín's songs and intimacy arrive on July 10th

The sensitivity of singer-songwriter songs also has a place at Les Nits Occident with Vanessa Martín, one of the most respected performers on the Spanish scene. Since receiving her first guitar at the age of six, the Malaga native has not stopped writing her own story, until debuting with Agua in 2006. Martín arrives in Pedralbes to present her latest studio work, Casa Mía, recently released with the collaboration of Joaquín Sabina. An ideal night to enjoy an artist awarded the Medal of Andalusia and the Ondas Award, who has become an essential reference for Spanish song.

Pablo López's piano stars on the night of July 18

Pablo López, the Malaga-born pianist and performer, presents his new and ambitious proposal: El Niño del Espacio en Concierto. López proposes a very carefully crafted live format, where the staging is designed to enhance proximity, passion, and connection with the attendees. This new tour coincides with the release of his eponymous single and marks the starting gun for a new artistic stage in his career. On stage, the unreleased songs from his new album will coexist with the great hits that have made him one of the best-known artists of national pop.

ZAZ's French chanson takes over the gardens on July 13

ZAZ is one of the freest and most magnetic voices in contemporary French music. In 2010, she moved the whole world with the release of her song Je veux, and, since then, she has consolidated her unique style that naturally fuses pop, French chanson, and gypsy jazz. The artist arrives at Les Nits Occident to present her sixth studio album, an intimate and acoustic work that has received unanimous applause from critics and the public.

Diana Krall presents the best jazz in Pedralbes on July 19

Classic jazz will arrive with Diana Krall, the great lady of the genre, the only singer who has managed to have eight of her albums debut consecutively at number 1 on the Billboard Jazz Albums chart. The Canadian pianist and singer has a career of more than 25 years, but began studying piano at the age of four, influenced by her father. The 1999 song When I Look in Your Eyes was her first great global hit and, since then, Krall has won 2 Grammy Awards, 10 Juno Awards and has participated in historic collaborations with great artists such as Tony Bennett, Paul McCartney or Barbra Streisand.

The solidarity return of Teràpia de Shock on July 14

The Gerundians Teràpia de Shock return exclusively to the stage to carry out a tour of only 1 year to commemorate their anniversary. On this tour, they will revisit great songs such as Sense Tu, Compta amb mi or 20 minuts d'espera with renewed and updated musicality. But a very important point of this performance is that it has a charitable nature: all proceeds from the concert will go to the Albert Bosch Foundation and the Barça Foundation to finance the creation of the Albert Bosch Center for Drug Discovery at the Vall d'Hebron Research Institute, a pioneering unit in Europe in the research of drugs against childhood cancer.

Judit Neddermann closes the cycle in symphonic format on July 20

The icing on the cake of Les Nits Occident's program will be Judit Neddermann and GIO Symphonia. Neddermann wants to celebrate her first ten years of musical career and, to do so, she surrounds herself with her usual band and the GIO Symphonia, under the baton of Joan Albert Amargós. "When I sing with an orchestra I feel my voice embraced, elevated and magnified. It awakens emotion in me and connects me with the beauty of making music," confesses the singer-songwriter herself.
