In-Store Media continues its international expansion. The Catalan firm, specialized in advertising strategies and sales dynamization in advertising supports in stores and large commercial areas, lands in Italy through an alliance with Carrefour. With this agreement, the brand extends its presence to nine countries, five of them in Europe, and currently generates 70% of its turnover outside of Spain, where it also concentrates 60% of its employees.

The entry into the Italian market has been carried out with an alliance with Carrefour through Unlimitail, the joint-venture of Carrefour group with Publicis Group, and with which In-Store Media also reached an agreement a few months ago to manage the advertising supports of Carrefour stores in Spain.

"We identify this market as one with great potential in the sector and we foresee that, in the short term, it will become one of the strategic pillars of the group," said the CEO of In-Store Media, Fernando de Vicente. The Catalan firm has opened an office in Milan to coordinate its activity in the Italian country, and plans to implement the first campaigns in February.

In the last year, the company has closed eleven new contracts, seven of them international, which already generate an annual turnover of more than 25 million euros. In addition to Italy and Spain, the brand also has a presence in France, Portugal, Chile, Mexico, Argentina, Poland and the Philippines. The CEO of the firm considers internationalization as a "key lever for the growth of the company" and projects the opening of two new markets in the next four years, with an eye on the Asian continent and the Middle East, in addition to consolidating its presence in South America. The Catalan firm also reaffirms its goal of exceeding 160 million in turnover by 2026.

Founded in 1998 in Barcelona, the firm currently manages 330 shopping centers, 1,500 hypermarkets, 6,000 supermarkets, 60 pharmacies and 92 department stores worldwide, and has clients such as El Corte Inglés, Alcampo, Samsung or Apple. The multinational's shareholding is made up of ISP Holding (a company of the Rodés family), Artá Capital and Pablo Vilá.
