Valèria Gaillard (Barcelona, 1973), a philosopher by training, entered journalism by chance. After studying in Paris for the Master in Journalism at the National Audiovisual Institute, she linked various jobs in French and Catalan media until she joined El Punt newspaper in 2003. From then on, she specialized in literary cultural information, as well as classical music and dance. In 2007, parallel to her studies in Literary Theory and Comparative Literature, she launched the project to translate Marcel Proust's In Search of Lost Time, of which two volumes have been published so far (Grup 62).
