Tudor opens its first 'boutique' in Spain on Paseo de Gràcia

The Swiss watchmaker opens an 80-square-meter store at the confluence with Consell de Cent

Tudor watches now have their own space in Barcelona. The watch firm has opened its first boutique in Spain on Paseo de Gràcia, on the corner with Consell de Cent. Until now, the products of the Swiss brand, with prices between 3,000 and 5,000 euros, could be found in local brand stores such as Rabat and Grau, its official distributors in the city.

After two months of work, the store opened its doors this Tuesday, with a sales area of 80 square meters. Previously, the premises had been occupied by the Madrid jewelry store Aristocrazy. The opening, for an investment that has not been communicated, has had the collaboration of Rabat and has meant the hiring of four workers.

The design of the Tudor boutique was carried out by the Barcelona studio Ujo+partners. The establishment mixes watch models, with brand classics such as Black Bay and Pelagos, with a bar and an experiential area, now dedicated to cycling, with a bicycle from the Swiss TUDOR Pro Cycling Team to ride on.

This is one of the many sports sponsored by the brand, also present in the America's Cup, with a small boat from the Swiss Alinghi Red Bull Racing team displayed in the store. This also includes former soccer player David Beckham, brand ambassador who has visited the city for the inauguration of Tudor on Paseo de Gràcia.

Created by the founder of Rolex to offer a more affordable version, the almost centenary watch brand has 250 boutiques and more than 1,100 points of sale worldwide, with a special weight in the United States and Asia. The headquarters in Spain are located in Madrid, together with Rolex, with a staff of more than fifty workers.
