Sala Versus Glòries premieres La torradora, the comedy written by the tandem formed by Jordi Esquius and Sergi Belbel. After the success of Angle Mort, the authors return with a piece that addresses the housing crisis, loneliness, and the irruption of artificial intelligence in everyday life.
The plot follows Bruno, a man in the midst of an existential crisis who receives a singular gift from his neighbor Arcadi: an "intelligent" toaster capable of interacting and creating emotional bonds. Through the fragility of human relationships and social isolation, the play uses romantic comedy to satirize our dependence on technology and the search for comfort in the digital age.

Performed by Àurea Márquez and Miquel Malirach, the play combines documentary theater with poetic fiction to trace the history of the Civil War, the post-war period, and the transition to the present. The set design transforms into an archive and a tomb to give voice to the letters, testimonies, and silences of an entire generation in an exercise of dignity and historical memory.
