Cines Verdi presents this Sunday the Teta sessions, in which premiere films adapted for families to go with their babies will be screened. The proposal wants parents with young children to lose their fear of going to the cinema in case they have to leave with the film already started to attend to the needs of the little ones.
Once a month, the Verdi cinemas will screen films in rooms conditioned so that everyone can enjoy them, with dim light and lower volume so as not to scare the little ones. A safe space, adapted and shared by all spectators. These sessions are designed so that mothers can breastfeed babies, with strollers parked in the same aisle, and everyone can get up as many times as they want.
The sessions will be held on the last Sunday of each month in the morning (11:30). Offering a reduced price, a premiere from the billboard will be screened. The titles will be intended for an adult audience and will not be children's sessions. The first film will be the French Un paseo con Madeleine.
The initiative was born in Madrid three months ago and has been very well received, filling the hall with strollers every time it is scheduled. Now, the Verdi cinemas want to replicate this success in Barcelona. By the way, the Teta sessions are open to any spectator and not just families.
