New installment of the Doble o Nada saga, conceived by Damm as a series of advertising short films starring actor Luis Tosar and directed by filmmakers such as Dani de la Torre or Daniel Monzón. The third installment, which premieres this Saturday, is signed by Alberto Rodríguez, director of 7 vírgenes, Grupo 7 and the multi-award-winning La isla mínima.
The new spot for Damm's double malt beer, El Arrepentido, pays homage to gastronomy and to all the people who work tirelessly to bring the best of the land to the table. Unlike the other shorts, the novelty is that this time the filming includes outdoor settings focused on the rural environment, in scenes where mud and rain are protagonists.
The short film maintains the usual common thread: to demonstrate that not all beers are the same and, incidentally, to highlight the importance of small food producers such as eggs, salt, oil, onions or potatoes, indispensable ingredients for making a good potato omelet.
In this production, Luis Tosar is accompanied by young actor Artur Busquets, who plays a rookie waiter who is forced to apologize a thousand times, not only to the farmers he has disrespected, but even to the chickens. The terrified co-star waiter from the other shorts in the saga, played by Luis Zahera, is also present in the ad. Again, this Voll-Damm campaign is conceived by creative Oriol Villar.
