When he goes on stage, Mago Pop always surprises. But this time he has done it not as a magician, but as Antonio Díaz: the illusionist has pulled a new ace up his sleeve, and has announced the purchase of the rights to Mar i Cel from Dagoll Dagom. Although there is no scheduled date yet, the emblematic musical will return to the Teatre Victòria, owned precisely by the artist since 2019, when he bought it from a company formed by, precisely, Dagoll Dagom, Tricicle and Anexa. Now, Díaz has kept Dagoll Dagom's flagship, which will maintain its original essence, set design and music that characterize it.
The artist from Badia del Vallès made the announcement at a press conference with more features of a show than a meeting with the press. He did it surrounded by Hollywood stars, such as Helen Hunt, Aaron Paul, Mira Sorvino and Michelle Rodríguez. Surrounded by glamour and after a theatrical appearance, the Catalan magician revealed his future plans: an unprecedented world tour through stadiums, which will begin at the Santiago Bernabéu and end at the Camp Nou, a detail he advanced with Joan Laporta himself on stage.
The press conference/show also saw artists such as David Henrie, Billy Zand, Aitana Sánchez Gijón, Paz Vega, Leonor Walting, Jon Kortajarena, Martina Klein, Álex González and model Jessica Goicoechea parade. All of them supported the artist on the same stage of the Teatre Victòria where Mago Pop offers his show Nada es imposible until May. The artist has returned to Paral·lel after triumphing on Broadway, and from 2027 he will combine his most iconic show with the world tour.
With this stadium tour, Mago Pop's shows will acquire another dimension, before audiences that will exceed 60,000 spectators. The tour, still without a name or public dates, pursues a clear goal: to elevate the scope of traditional productions and take another step. Making the leap from the theater seat to the stadium stands represents doing a more difficult still typical of shows that seek to outdo themselves. As Díaz explained, it is a format that has never been done before: "And that attracts me."
The announcements have gone even further: Díaz has promoted the new Europe Broadway Awards, which aim to give visibility to European theater based, precisely, in Barcelona, and with an eye on big stages and, also, on Broadway. The first edition of these awards is scheduled to take place in 2026 in the Catalan capital, with the aim of becoming a global benchmark.
