The magic of Christmas returns to CASA SEAT

One more year, CASA SEAT becomes a Christmas village with the Magic Days. The cultural center launches this initiative to offer Barcelona one more Christmas experience, in its case, with activities for the whole family and a decoration that extends throughout all floors of the building.

From December 1st to January 5th, opening hours are Monday to Sunday, from 10 in the morning to 8 at night, except for the holidays of December 24, 25, 26 and 31 and January 1. Access is without a ticket, by queuing upon arrival.

"The Magic Days is our gift to the city's families. This year the creative concept is collaborative and the result of four intense months of work between the CASA SEAT team, Christian Escribà, TvBoy, Brook Agency, Fazeta and Dicom," explains CASA SEAT director, Cristina Vall-Llosada.

Behind the entrance door, a Christmas Village full of colors, aromas, characters and lights welcomes attendees, extending the magic throughout the building. On the ground floor, the public can discover Santa Claus's house, accompanied by his faithful companion Rudolf, a cookie factory, a toy factory and the traditional Christmas tree. The youngest members of the family can meet Santa Claus until December 23. And, from December 27, a royal page will collect children's letters.

As a novelty, on the lower floor, a virtual reality experience for the whole family has been incorporated this year. Through special glasses, an interactive adventure can be experienced that includes toys, snow, Christmas lights and a final surprise. And, the first floor has been transformed into Santa's Garage with a sleigh created by the design team of the automotive brand.

Focusing on the sweetest part, master pastry chef Christian Escribà has been in charge of the space's decoration and the creation of three-dimensional figures with pastry works. For this, a team of 25 pastry chefs has created more than 50 chocolate figures and toys, cookies and sugar pastes using 80 kilos of chocolate, 50 kilos of meringue and 150 kilos of candies and gummies. In addition, the CASA SEAT restaurant has prepared a special gastronomic offer for Christmas, such as the traditional chocolate and churros snack or group menus.

As the icing on the cake, CASA SEAT incorporates its own advent calendar, which once again occupies the facade of the building located at the confluence of Avenida Diagonal and Paseo de Gràcia. On this occasion, the work is by TvBoy. The urban artist has designed a vertical exhibition that pays homage to Barcelona through its personalities such as Alexia Putellas, Juan Antonio Bayona or Antoni Gaudí, revealing itself day by day with the opening of a new window.
