The investment and startup incubator company Antai Venture Builder has chosen the insurtech Vitaance to transform the world of life insurance. The experience in this sector of the co-founding team, formed by Ana Zamora, Bernard Granados, and Christian Rochas, must serve to propose an innovative offer, based on flexibility and a price adjusted to each client.
The startup was born in January 2021 with a share capital of 370,000 euros contributed by the co-founding team and is finalizing a one-million-euro round, led by Antai, which is expected to close in July. The resources will be allocated to platform development, user acquisition, and staff hiring. The company's goal is to reach 3,000 users in 2022.
Vitaance's proposal involves offering life insurance that "helps its clients live better" through a system of healthy habits and rewarding them if they follow them. Likewise, clients with a healthier lifestyle will be able to access advantages on the contracted products.
"Our approach is totally different, as we only want to offer our clients products that completely adapt to their way of being and their way of understanding life," explains the CEO and also co-founder, Ana Zamora.
For their part, Antai's co-CEOs, Miguel Vicente and Gerard Olivé, see in Vitaance "a great opportunity to enter a giant sector like insurance, but with a radically different approach." "With Vitaance and thanks to data and technology, we will finally have at our disposal life insurance adapted to our needs and designed exclusively for each one of us," adds Vicente.
