For those for whom the wait until the new season of Stranger Things comes out seems an unbearable outrage, they should know that a new temporal portal with direct access to Hawkins will open in the very center of Barcelona. A tour will allow them to undergo paranormal tests at the Hawkins National Laboratory ---practice for light control, object levitation, and mental strength--- or have fun playing arcade games at the StarCourt shopping mall.
The most daring will be able to enter the Creel House and, if they can, emerge unscathed. It is recommended to wear headphones in case you need to listen to a song. It doesn't matter if it's not Kate Bush's Running Up That Hill.
Feeling like one of the group of friends led by Eleven ---or Jane--- would not be possible without getting on one of the mythical bicycles with which they have been able to fight against the worst unimaginable monsters and reach any point, including the Upside Down World that the Duffer brothers have imagined for the Netflix series. Obviously, they will be able to immortalize the moment.
All this can be visited at the Movistar Centre in Barcelona, located at the corner of Portal de l'Àngel and Fontanella street. The first floor has been themed to host the exhibition, which will be available from this Friday, August 19, until Saturday, October 1. The opening hours will be Monday to Saturday, from 10 AM to 8 PM. The estimated duration of the complete tour is about 35 minutes.
The Stranger Things exhibition, organized by Movistar Plus+ and Netflix, arrives in the Catalan capital after passing through other cities such as Madrid and Valencia, where it attracted more than 110,000 and 25,000 visitors, respectively. In them, long queues have been seen to enter, so the organizers ask to go with time and prepared to wait.
Admission is free and reservations cannot be made. Minors under 16 years of age must be accompanied by an adult. The tour is not suitable for people with pacemakers, taking into account that electromagnetic fields have been installed at some point.
