The city's sportech ecosystem is strengthening. Tech Barcelona, formerly Barcelona Tech City, has just partnered with the Euroleague Basketball FanXP Innovation Challenge. This initiative seeks to revolutionize the sport by offering a better fan experience through a ten-week incubation program.
In this edition of the FanXP Innovation Challenge, the finalists are ImagineAR, LivXp AG, Fanprime, Seyu Solutions Ltd., Sceenic, Slate, LiveDuel, FanDome FRM, and Madrid-based Clupik, the only Spanish company.
"The collaboration between Euroleague Basketball and Tech Barcelona is good news for the sportstech ecosystem," said the vice president of the Barcelona association and entrepreneur, Dídac Lee.
For him, "startups and corporations have to work hand in hand to generate the growth dynamic we want for Barcelona, which is already the third preferred city for European entrepreneurs, so that it consolidates itself as an international hub for technological and sports industries."
