Smart City Expo World Congress has closed another record-breaking edition. The growth in space, exhibitors, and represented cities has been matched by an increase in attendees, who reached 25,771 people in this edition.

Attendees, coming from 130 countries, represented a new maximum for the exhibition on the cities of the future. The event director, Ugo Valenti, celebrated the figures and indicated that they are "especially significant," because the summit has proposed solutions that can contribute to improving the situation in areas affected by the DANA.

The international meeting on urban innovation has already announced next year's dates in Barcelona. It will take place from November 4 to 6 in what will be the fourteenth edition of the event, which this year offered 30% more exhibition space, with 1,100 exhibitors and 850 represented cities.

In this edition, the event organized by Fira de Barcelona has focused on advancing towards more livable and ethical cities, also taking into account their efficiency and sustainability. To do this, it has focused on key sectors for the future of urban life, such as mobility, construction, and the blue economy.

To address all these areas, Smart City Expo World Congress has been held jointly with the Tomorrow.Mobility World Congress, Tomorrow.Building, and Tomorrow.Blue Economy. Together, they have looked from their various angles at the technologies and trends that will shape the cities of the future.
