From June 26 to July 5, Barcelona hosts La Fiesta del Tour, a public and free event that aims to become a new major festival. To celebrate that this year the Tour de France kicks off in Barcelona, a lot of cultural, musical, and family activities will be organized throughout the city. One of these activities are the performances by well-known bands, which can be enjoyed for free and outdoors from Friday, June 26 to Sunday, June 28.
Well-known Catalan groups such as Sidonie, Doctor Prats, Ladilla Rusa, 31 FAM, or Suu will offer free concerts to everyone who comes to Plaça de la Catedral or Plaça Margarida Xirgu. The goal? To celebrate together that our city has been chosen as the Grand Départ of the Tour de France and to show the rest of Europe and the world the great artistic and musical quality that exists in our home.
Ladilla Rusa

If there is a group capable of turning Plaça de la Catedral into a giant street party in a matter of seconds, it's them. Tania Lozano and Víctor F. Clares, two lifelong friends from Montcada i Reixach, started the project almost as a joke. And now, they are successful on stage thanks to their party based on humor and costumbrista satire. This Friday they will be in Barcelona ready to review their greatest hits such as Macaulay Culkin or KITT y los coches del pasado.
Sexenni

Sexenni is the festive pop band that connects different generations. Directly from Lleida, the guys from Sexenni have gone from making music in high school to filling the main stages of the territory. Their secret? A combination of rhymes full of good vibes and a touch of irony. After captivating the audience with their guitar pop in Joc de nens, the band will make the Cathedral explode with their music and lyrics.
Doctor Prats

A night of rumba, techno-ska and urban music awaits us on Saturday in the Plaza de la Catedral. The guys from Terrassa are back with fully recharged batteries and the incorporation of their new members: Joan Palà and Maria Astallé. This year their connection with the Tour de France is total, as their latest single, Energia!, is the official song for the start of the Tour. Doctor Prats promises a great concert where they will review their ten years of hits to show that they are more alive than ever.
Joan Garriga

Joan Garriga is, for many, the father of the rúmbia vallesana. Founder of Dusminguet and soul of La Troba Kung-Fú, Joan Garriga is an institution of popular music of our century. We always see him with his diatonic accordion on his shoulder and he is considered the co-discoverer of the rúmbia, a mix of rumba and cumbia. For the Fiesta del Tour he will offer a perfect concert for lovers of roots music and popular festivities.
31 FAM

The six from Sabadell continue to be the undisputed leaders of trap, reggaeton and dancehall made in our home. In their Saturday concert, 31 FAM will present the songs from their conceptual album R31, an album designed as if it were the schedule of a live radio station 24 hours a day. Melodic flow, powerful bass and the perfect dose of urban party to close Saturday with a bang.
DJ Trapella

One of the most well-known artists on the decks in our country and with the most international projection from Maresme is DJ Trapella and she will be in charge of closing the night in Montjuïc. An artist who is known for sets that combine the most mainstream sounds with electronic music and social commitment. Since starting her career in 2021, the DJ from Maresme has consolidated herself as a unique artist thanks to her fresh, eclectic and unpredictable style.
Suu

Susana Ventura (Suu) became big on social media, but has consolidated herself on stage as one of the most beloved singer-songwriters of current Catalan pop. Her rapid evolution led her to win the Enderrock award for best breakthrough artist in 2018 thanks to her debut album, Natural. Since then, her growth has been unstoppable, and she is an essential voice at festivals like Canet Rock. Now, the Barcelona-based singer-songwriter arrives at the Cathedral to present her most recent work, Material sensible.
Mercabanda

Formed by Maria la Blanco, Magalí Datzira, Glòria Maurel, and Joina Canyet, this band became the musical group of the TV3 late show Zona Franca. The synergy and chemistry between them on stage were so instantaneous that the project quickly jumped from television to street tours. Mercabanda offers high-voltage music that is presented as a four-way combat: their concerts link pop hits, disco, black music, and rumba.
Sidonie

Sidonie will offer us a psychedelic and rock concert in their first tribute in Catalan. The Barcelona natives are classics of state indie and psychedelic rock, but this event is special. Marc Ros, Jesús Senra, and Axel Pi bring home the live performance of Catalan Graffiti, the twelfth album of their career and the band's first sung and recorded entirely in Catalan. A concert to sing the usual songs and discover how good their zero-kilometer music sounds.
Boom Boom Fighters

The La Festa del Tour concerts will conclude to the rhythm of reggae and dancehall by the Boom Boom Fighters. And young people are clear about it and have long placed them at the top of their playlists. With the Empordà singer Cookah P at the helm, this young music band has consolidated itself as one of the freshest and most fun on our current scene. In Plaça Margarida Xirgu, they will present their second album, Caliu, where they take the roots of Jamaican dance music and pass them through a Mediterranean and contemporary lens.
