The Chinese ultra-fast fashion brand Shein opens this Friday an experiential store of 750 square meters in the El Triangle shopping center in Barcelona. As is usual for this online sales company, it is a pop-up, that is, an ephemeral store that will only be open until next Saturday, July 29.
The choice of El Triangle over Portal de l'Àngel ---the location where its previous pop-up stores had been--- is not the only novelty. For the first time, in addition to women's clothing, Shein will market men's and children's fashion in this establishment. In addition, decoration products, home gadgets, and beauty products will also be sold.
As usual, stock is limited and there will be no restocks, so it is expected that, once again, long queues will form to enter the store.
Shein highlights that, this time, a new store model has been designed that seeks to "offer consumers a new shopping experience" that strengthens their connection with the brand. In this sense, the store has themed spaces such as the Beauty Corner, where professional makeup artists will advise on the new beauty products of the Asian brand. There will also be the DIY space, which will allow customizing and "giving a unique and personal touch to garments," as they explain. Finally, another of the attractions will be the Game Corner, an area that will have game machines to have a good time and win prizes.
To make the ephemeral store a permanent party, Shein has scheduled DJ sessions in the afternoons, between 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. Another attraction of the establishment will be a photocall to immortalize the visit to the store and feed social networks. On Saturday the pop up will be open twelve hours, from ten in the morning to ten at night, and the rest of the days of the week, including election Sunday, it will close at eight.
