The Canadian artist Abel Tesfaye, known worldwide as The Weeknd, kicks off the month of September in Barcelona after selling out three consecutive nights in Madrid to over 150,000 spectators. The singer adds this date at the Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys as part of his global tour After hours til dawn, produced by Live Nation.
The Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys, which the musician already visited in July 2023, once again features a gigantic setup. The tour celebrates the closing of his discographic trilogy composed of After hours (2020), Dawn FM (2022), and Hurry up tomorrow (2025). The Weeknd will also feature the participation of American rapper Playboi Carti as a guest artist on all his dates.
Aitana at the Palau Sant Jordi

Months after her massive appearance at the Estadi Olímpic before 40,000 people, the singer from Sant Climent de Llobregat returns to the Catalan capital to welcome her Cuarto Azul World Tour.
The tour, which began its journey on March 14, 2026, at the Lollapalooza festival in Argentina, has already passed through more than 24 cities around the world. CA7RIEL & Paco Amoroso at the Palau Sant Jordi

The Argentinian duo formed by Catriel Guerreiro (CA7RIEL) and Ulises Guerreiro (Paco Amoroso) lands at Palau Sant Jordi with their FREE SPIRITS WORLD TOUR to present their new work in the United Kingdom and Europe. The complicity of the two artists began during their school days in Buenos Aires, where their shared surname led their teachers to mistake them for brothers. Since then, the two artists have been united by their devotion to Argentinian rock and pop.
After experimenting with rap and various genres, the duo made a leap in 2024 after their presentation in NPR's Tiny Desk Concert series. Their style transitions between urban music, funk, and alternative rock, a fusion that has been widely applauded and acclaimed by their followers.
Sigur Rós at the Auditori del Fòrum

The Icelandic band Sigur Rós returns to Barcelona with a symphonic concert. On this occasion, the group will be accompanied on stage by the 41 musicians of the Orquestra Simfònica del Vallès to perform compositions from their most recent album, Átta (2023), along with a selection of the greatest hits from their discography.
This concert at the Auditori del Fòrum represents one of the last opportunities to enjoy the tour that the band undertook with conductor Robert Ames and top-tier local orchestras, such as the London Contemporary Orchestra or the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra. In addition to Barcelona, the tour only has one other confirmed date in Spain, scheduled for September 15 at the Palacio Euskalduna in Bilbao.

The guitarist of The Rolling Stones will offer an intimate and close concert at Razzmatazz. The youngest member of the legendary British trio (at 78 years old) will offer a close performance as part of the Cruïlla Concerts series.
The promoter has announced that Wood will be accompanied on stage by a "very special guest." Although the name has not been officially confirmed, all eyes point to the Irish rock and roll singer Imelda May, who shares the stage with the musician in his previous engagement in London three weeks before arriving in the Catalan capital.

Halfway between minimalist neoclassicism, the melancholy of the violin and cello, and the most discreet electronic touches, his music presents an enveloping landscape that transports the viewer to an almost cinematic universe.
La Mercè Concerts 2026
This September, the musical agenda is strongly marked by La Mercè. Barcelona's main festival will feature free concerts by well-known artists from current music, such as:
- September 23, 2026: Pol Batlle. The singer-songwriter Pol Batlle will offer an intimate concert at 9:30 p.m. at the Teatre Grec as part of the Festa Major de la Mercè 2026. Admission will be free, although it will be subject to the venue's capacity limit.
- September 25, 2026: Nacho Vegas. The benchmark of independent singer-songwriter music Nacho Vegas will present his poetic and critical repertoire on the stage of the Teatre Grec at 9:30 p.m.
- September 25, 2026. Miki Núñez. Miki Núñez's festive pop will star on Friday night at 10:00 p.m. on the Bogatell beach stage, in an open-air concert aimed at the massive audience of the patron saint festivities.
- September 25, 2026: Els Amics de les Arts. The Catalan trio will review their best-known songs on the grand stage of Avinguda de la Reina Maria Cristina at 10:00 p.m., within the Mercè's night program.
- September 25, 2026: Els Catarres. Continuing the party on Avinguda de la Reina Maria Cristina, Els Catarres will take the stage at 11:45 p.m. to perform their well-known festive and danceable Catalan music tracks.
- September 25, 2026: Teràpia de Shock. The pop-rock band Teràpia de Shock will be in charge of closing Friday's day on Avinguda de la Reina Maria Cristina with their performance scheduled at 1:30 a.m.
- September 26, 2026: La Pegatina. Faithful to their characteristic mixed and fun style, La Pegatina will headline Saturday's lineup on the DAMM stage of Bogatell beach starting at 9:30 p.m.
- September 26, 2026: Svetlana. The musical project Svetlana will close the festive program of Bogatell beach in the early hours of Saturday to Sunday, with a performance at 1:30 a.m.
- September 26, 2026: Aterciopelados. The Colombian band Aterciopelados, led by Andrea Echeverri and Héctor Buitrago, will offer their fusion of alternative rock and folk rhythms on the stage in front of the Cathedral at 10:00 p.m.
- September 26, 2026: Maika Makowski. The artist will take over at midnight on Avinguda de la Catedral to present her live rock and pop show.
Tribute to Pau Casals at the Palau de la Música

The Palau de la Música Catalana will present a tribute to Pau Casals, one of the most transcendental figures in the history of universal music and a fundamental pillar of Catalan cultural memory.
The concert will bring together on the same stage the Orquesta Sinfónica del Vallès and the Orfeó Català, who will join forces to pay tribute to the master from Vendrell, as well as to his tireless commitment to peace and human rights. Through a repertoire selected for the occasion, the concert will recover key passages of his legacy in a space that Casals himself considered his home: the Palau de la Música.
Zucchero at the Palau de la Música

The living legend of European rock blues, Adelmo "Zucchero" Fornaciari, arrives on the stage of the Palau de la Música Catalana as part of his international tour Under the Moonlight. A very special night where the torn voice of the Italian artist and his fusion of soul, blues and pop-rock will sound in one of the halls with the best acoustics in the country.
The concert also comes with a taste of historical celebration, as it pays a special tribute to the 25th anniversary of the release of Baila (Sexy Thing), the song that in 2001 consolidated him as a global artist. Zucchero will be accompanied by a high-level international band (like the musician from Reggio Emilia) to offer a review of four decades of his career, with classics such as Senza una donna, Diavolo in me or Così celeste.
