Sala Flyhard celebrates 16 years in the Barcelona theater sector. And it does so by keeping its essence intact: Catalan dramaturgy, unreleased texts, and in-house productions in an intimate setting where the audience feelsevery breath the actors take almost as if it were their own.
For the new 2026/2027 season, the Sants neighborhood venue the season features five productions (one revival, three premieres, and one final production yet to be announced) with a major novelty: the shows will run longer on the billboard to give each story the life and journey it deserves.
Passaran coses fantàstiques
From September 16 to October 5, the hit comedy by Sílvia Navarro and Jordi Casado returns, with a cast led by Sergi Armentano, Fina Rius, Júlia Santacana, and Ferran Vilajosana. A a comedy full of twists, misunderstandings and mystery, ideal for lovers of true crime and podcasts. Artur, an amateur detective, becomes obsessed with the mysterious clues surrounding the disappearance of his neighbor, Mrs. Àgata. With the help (and much patience) of his partner, he will find themselves caught up in a story where nothing is what it seems.
Innocència i desig
From October 29 to December 27, Òscar Constantí Bosch presents Innocence and desire, a proposal directed by Xavier Albertí and starring Manel Barceló, Montse Esteve, and Mont Plans. This is a story that is deeply moving. Based on real events, Adelina appears at Lola's house, an elderly communist woman, to seek answers about the son who was stolen from her in a prison at the beginning of the 20th century. Accompanied by a lawyer, they will begin a journey through memory, justice, and the limits of power.
Bye bye, primavera
From January 21 to March 22, Ann Perelló and Cristina Clemente present Bye bye, spring under the direction of Lali Álvarez. Clara Garcés, Jaume Madaula, and Ann Perelló star in this play that asks a simple question: Who hasn't wanted to escape from it all? Joana, a successful podcaster and millennial mother, lives overwhelmed by work and parenting. One night at Primavera Sound, she makes an impossible wish: to stop being a mother. The next day she wakes up in a universe where her children have never existed. A comedy about motherhood, the desire for freedom, and the expectations we impose on ourselves.
La Relatora
Marc Angelet presents La relatora, a proposal that can be seen from April 15 to June 7 at Sala Flyhard. The story follows Artur, a man who works as a night watchman in a parking lot and leads a life as gray as it is routine. Everything changes when he receives a visit from "La Relatora," who tells him that people don't need another life, but another way of telling it to themselves. A dramatic comedy that moves between humor and mystery to remind us of the power of the stories we tell ourselves.
Sixteen years of Flyhard
It all started in 2010 as an experiment without a business plan. They had a rehearsal room rented in Hostafrancs and, since they didn't plan to be able to stage their productions in any other space in Barcelona, they decided to reconvert it into a performance space The idea was to perform until people stopped coming. And sixteen years and more than 50 in-house productions later, people haven't stopped going.
Unlike most theatres, Sala Flyhard presents just one production at a time: there is only one show at a time. This allows them to dedicate all the space, time, and energy to a single project, because each play remains on stage for 4 to 8 weeks.
Its stage measures just three by four metres where magic happens. At Flyhard audiences have seen a car on a road trip through Galician lands, a luxury jacuzzi installed there, and kitchens that merge with the moon itself. All this is possible thanks to the meticulous work of set designers, lighting designers, sound and costume designers, a task often invisible that almost never appears in major theatre awards, but which has great merit.
After 16 years, supporting venues like Sala Flyhard means supporting local talent, original stories and theatre made in Catalonia.
