Prosperity Digital will hire 300 people to offer outsourced digital services

The recruitment agency will do so from a new 'outsourcing' center located in the Norrsken 'hub' in Barceloneta

The recruitment agency Prosperity Digital has launched its new outsourcing division in Barcelona, through which it aims to provide digital talent to third-party companies. Through its Outsourcing Center of Excellence, it plans to hire 300 people throughout 2024 to meet the needs of companies that choose to outsource digital services.

The new center has begun operating in the hub that the Swedish foundation Norrsken opened in autumn in Barceloneta. With this, Prosperity Digital has made the leap from a recruitment agency specialized in the digital sector to a provider of digital talent through outsourcing. These services will be offered not only to local companies, but its target is any company in Europe, or even beyond, as explained to The New Barcelona Post by Prosperity Digital's marketing manager, Xavi Sala.

The company has decided to promote this outsourcing center due to the growing demand for digital profiles from third-party companies. This demand also comes from European markets such as the United Kingdom, France, and Germany, due to the scarcity of qualified talent in certain digital areas, as Prosperity Digital has observed in its work as a recruitment agency.

The availability of talent at a competitive price and Barcelona's ability to attract have been key to locating the company's new center there.
It has been in this situation that the company has chosen to open itself to outsourcing, and has chosen Barcelona as the best location to launch into this field. The company, founded two decades ago in Ireland, has been operating for three years in Barcelona, until now, on Sardenya street. Prosperity Digital has ten employees in the Catalan capital, half of the total number of employees the company has globally, with offices also in Dublin and Paris.

Among these cities, Barcelona has been selected to open this new center. "The commitment to Barcelona is very clear. The talent is of a quality equal to or superior to that of any other European market, at a very competitive price, which represents an opportunity for companies to scale, renew themselves and have access to constantly updated talent," highlights Sala.

Thus, the availability of talent at a competitive price and the city's attractiveness have been key to locating the company's Outsourcing Center of Excellence there. The company has also taken into account its dynamism, its technological ecosystem, and the demand for digital services. According to Prosperity Digital CEO, Gary Mullan, these elements make the city "the perfect place" to create this new center.
