Meridia Capital has begun the commercialization of the Upper Sarrià office building, of 4,000 square meters, which is undergoing a comprehensive renovation process of both common and private spaces and will be ready in the third quarter of 2022. The complex, acquired by Meridia Capital in December 2021, has two seven-story buildings, with 2,260 square meters and 1,570 square meters, respectively, being the only project that will be available in the Sarrià area for this year. The developer has entrusted the commercialization of the spaces to real estate consultants Savills Aguirre Newman and Forcadell.

Located on Calle Osi, at its confluence with Calle Santa Amelia, Upper Sarrià will feature collaborative spaces, meeting rooms, private terraces in both properties, and natural ventilation on all floors. In addition, the building has parking spaces and storage rooms.

The comprehensive renovation of the spaces, carried out by 3G, is being done in accordance with environmental regulations to obtain Leed sustainability certification with a Gold rating; which guarantees savings in energy and water consumption, as well as recycling in the renovation process, the reduction of CO2 emissions, and the promotion of sustainable mobility.

Upper Sarrià implies an entry of new supply into an area of the city that has registered an increase in demand, according to Manel de Bes, director of the office department at Forcadell. For her part, Marie Laure Fenet, director of Office Agency at Savills Aguirre Newman Barcelona, explains that "the Sarrià area, which has traditionally been residential, with high-end local shops and international schools, is attracting more interest after the pandemic due to new ways of life and work and the increasing value of proximity in cities."
