Cines Verdi is bringing back its Boob Sessions to make it easier for families with babies to go to the theaters. This time they will do it with the screening of Woody Allen's Coup de Chance on October 29 at 11:30 AM.
Parents will not have to worry about excessive noise, lack of light, or feeling self-conscious if they need to get up if their baby requires it, as everything is adapted to their needs. Thus, the Cines Verdi theater welcomes families with dim light, lower than usual sound, and in the morning hours.
The conditions are designed so that mothers can breastfeed their babies, and can do so while watching a good new release film. It is allowed to get up from the seat as many times as the baby requires, without the worry of disturbing other spectators, who are in the same situation. This way, Verdi avoids that a newly started motherhood or fatherhood implies giving up on billboard premieres.
Although they are adapted for families with infants, any spectator can attend the screening if they wish and if they are not bothered by crying or distractions. Any situation is good to see Woody Allen's new film, which addresses the role that chance plays in everyday life.
Cines Verdi will offer a Boob Session on the last Sunday of each month. Thus, they maintain the proposal they launched in March. Since then, they have registered an average attendance of about fifteen families with their babies at these sessions, designed for those who take up the least space but need the most attention.
