Gebro Pharma signs Ricard Castellet

The digital transformation process must permeate all companies and all their departments, as it is a transversal axis of vital importance to ensure the future and adaptation of all organizations. In this context, which has been accelerated by the pandemic, the pharmaceutical company Gebro Pharma has hired Ricard Castellet as Digital Transformation, a position that did not exist in the company until now and whose mission is to reinforce cultural change and ensure that digital technology reaches all areas, especially those related to products and services oriented to patients and the public health system.

Castellet has more than 20 years of experience in launching and consolidating startups and has been linked to brands such as Elogia, LetsBonus, BeRepublic and Barcelona Tech City. A graduate in Sociology from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, he combines his knowledge in social media, innovation and digital transformation with teaching, as he is the coordinator of the Master in Digital Marketing at La Salle, Universitat Ramón Llull.

Gebro Pharma is an Austrian pharmaceutical group specialized in the production of prescription drugs and hospital drugs, especially in the areas of pain, rheumatology, urology, respiratory and dermatology. It has been operating in the Spanish market since 2002 through a subsidiary based in Barcelona ---with a team of 150 employees--- to which Castellet now joins, reporting to the commercial operations management, led by Gustavo Pérez.
