"Les Dones Sàvies" is no longer a small-format production. It is a lesson in good theater. It is a tribute to theater. It is a monument to theater. To say it is essential is an understatement!

A small-format production that enjoys a very well-made text (by Lluís Hansen and Ricard Farré), a direction by the same Enric Cambray and Ricard Farré done with great care and much success. The costumes by Marc Udina that allow the two performers to play more than one role and that sometimes, surprisingly, there are more than two characters on stage. The set design by Enric Romaní that gives a lot of play to the work, the music by Júlia Bonjoch that is ingenious and very well found…

Les Dones Sàvies celebrate 10 years in Barcelona

Les dones sàvies, this production by Enric Cambray and Ricard Farré, is a marvel no matter how you look at it. The interpretation is full of life, rhythm, humor… there is complicity with the audience even before the play begins. This year marks 10 years since it premiered… 10 years and it hasn't lost an ounce of joy, rhythm, or humor. It is a very well-made, very well-thought-out, very well-directed, very well-performed work….

But, in 10 years, things have changed a lot in this world… and those of you who saw Les dones sàvies years ago, will find some changes, small changes that make the production current without losing any of its initial spirit. Thus, perhaps, instead of Mr. Conill you will find a certain Mr. Vasbé… and you will already relate him to whoever comes to mind..

"Farem forronya!"

So, to those of you who have always liked Les Dones Sàvies… go, you will laugh as always. To those of you who have never seen it… what are you waiting for?

Les Dones Sàvies is no longer a small-format production. It is a lesson in good theater. It is a tribute to theater. It is a monument to theater. To say it is essential is an understatement!
