Four months after starting manufacturing in the Zona Franca, Ebro has surpassed 1,000 units sold. Since it began its activity in the former Nissan plant at the end of November, the automaker has registered a total of 1,182 registrations of its two models currently available.
In fact, so far this year, the firm has reached a market share of 9% in medium and large gasoline-powered SUVs, and the figure is rising: according to the automaker, the figure increases to 12% if only March data is considered.
Specifically, since the relaunch of the historic brand, 930 units of its Ebro s700, which debuted in January, and 250 units of the Ebro s800, a seven-seater and the brand's flagship, which hit the market in February, have been sold.
Ebro has surpassed these first 1,000 units sold while preparing to launch its plug-in hybrid variant of both models, which will arrive at dealerships this month. All of them will be manufactured in the former Nissan plant in the Zona Franca, now converted into the Ebro Factory, and in Montcada i Reixach, specialized in stamping and welding metal parts.
