Nestea has found a manufacturer in Spain. Damm and Nestlé have closed an agreement for the Catalan brewing group to be responsible, starting in January, for producing, marketing, and distributing the tea refreshment in Spain, Andorra, and Gibraltar.
The agreement has been sealed after the contract linking Nestlé with Coca-Cola to produce the drink for these markets expired, in which it will continue to be marketed in all its flavors and formats.
The drink will now be produced in Damm's soft drink factory located in the Valencian municipality of Salem, maintaining the same characteristics of the refreshment until now. At its plant, Damm has already begun to produce the first units of Nestea, so that they are available for sale on January 1.
"This agreement represents a significant milestone for Damm," as the agreement strengthens its product and brand portfolio, as defended by Damm's general director, Jorge Villavecchia. For his part, the general director of Nestlé Spain, Jordi Llach, has celebrated guaranteeing the continuity of Nestea in Spain "hand in hand with a partner with the trajectory and category of Damm."
