BusUp was born in 2016 with the aim of transforming mobility in companies and facilitating the commutes of their employees. It does so by continuously adapting to their demand and designing the most efficient routes, optimizing journeys and pick-up points. It also offers them the possibility of sharing routes with other companies located nearby, maximizing the offer and minimizing costs.

The round, for an amount of five million euros, has been led by the Latin American investment fund Proeza Ventures. The US venture capital fund Autotech Ventures and the Finaves V investment fund, from the IESE business school, among others, have also participated. The resources will be used to expand in the United States, as well as to consolidate its presence in the markets where it already operates, Spain, Portugal, and Brazil.

Headquartered in Barcelona, the startup does not own buses and works with more than 150 mobility operators. Since its creation, it has worked with more than 100 corporate clients and 500,000 passengers worldwide. Among its clients are companies such as Accenture, Nestlé, Auchan, Siemens, Roche, Merlin Properties, DHL, Louis Vuitton, and Grifols, among others.
