Bachelor's degree in Journalism and eternal student of Political Science. A lover of impromptu suitcases and of opening my eyes wide when traveling, I have a special predilection for Africa and its people. When I was just over twenty, I traveled to the continent for the first time, and in 2009 I established my residence in Johannesburg, South Africa. In recent years, I have covered multiple conflicts and social issues in Somalia, DR Congo, South Sudan, Angola, Mali, Zimbabwe, and more than 35 African countries. In my work, in which I address fratricidal wars or silenced famines, but also the takeoff of nations or the cultural richness of African peoples, the human aspect of the continent is indispensable. Africans are indisputably the protagonists of my reports. I am a correspondent for La Vanguardia in Africa and produce television reports for different media. I also collaborate with radio stations and other newspapers and magazines. I have given talks and conferences at various universities, schools, and foundations. I am the author of the bookOcean Africa(Península Editorial) and co-founder of the international journalism magazine5Wand of the social and independent production companyMuzungu.
