The startup Aldara has raised 2.7 million euros in a financing round that has been led by the accelerator Y Combinator and the venture capital K Fund, along with various business angels. Y Combinator has bet on the project of entrepreneurs from Barcelona after having done so for companies such as Airbnb, Reddit, Dropbox and Revolut, while the investment firm K Fund has contributed to the growth of Urbanitae and the Barcelona unicorn Factorial.
The objective of the round is to expand the company's team to focus on attracting potential users at the state level, and attracting them to its project, which aims to offer an agile and transparent property and community management service. It proposes to do so through a team of managers that uses technologies and operations that accelerate the response to the needs of the communities.
Among other tools, Aldara offers the option of voting online and without the need to attend neighborhood meetings, details the CEO of the initiative, Daniel Carmona. In addition, the platform offers real-time information, allowing owners to have a broad view of their expenses and aspects such as delinquency, bank balance and invoices, as well as checking the status of their requests, explains Aldara's technological manager, Dani Torramilans.
This real-time information is made available to owners through an online portal, where they can check the status of the community, communicate with managers, track ongoing procedures and consult fees and payment methods, among other functions.
Looking ahead, Carmona announces that they plan to invest in new functionalities and processes. Among them, they plan to articulate a marketplace of providers, as well as enable real-time incident updates and improve internal operations to advance the instantaneity of the procedures managed around the needs of the owners.
