The IMPULSA CULTURA program by Fundació Catalunya Cultura has created a community that continues to grow and now comprises 220 cultural projects with enormous potential for collective impact, after participating in the different editions that have been carried out.
It is a free training, mentoring, and acceleration program that the foundation offers to cultural projects throughout the Catalan territory. The objective is to work on and improve the global management strategy of the projects to consolidate their viability and economic sustainability.
The 39 projects that have been presented to the program in this year's edition, the seventh, will soon be added to the IMPULSA community, and 10 of them are vying for the IMPULSA CULTURA 2022 award. The ten initiatives selected this year cover a wide range of activities, always with the aim of turning culture into a transformative and integrating element of society.
The following proposals have successfully reached the final selection: Festival Wallay of African cinema; the mobile tourism application Identify; the master's degree in literary creation from Laboratori de Lletres, currently the only one in Catalan; Muntem un festival, an event by Nou POP and the CCCB aimed at a teenage audience, and the musical training platform Music.cat.
Also selected were the projects of the chamber orchestra Orthemis; the participatory photography of Passenger Tales, which includes LGTBIQ+ asylum-seeking migrants in Barcelona; the musical magazine Qualsevol nit; Sala Fènix, for its promotion of performing arts in Barcelona, and the social and musical project Vozes for vulnerable groups.

The finalist project will be awarded the IMPULSA CULTURA 2022 prize, endowed with 10,000 euros and an artistic work by graffiti artist Maria Musa. Good business practices
For three years, the Fundació Catalunya Cultura has also highlighted the work of a company to publicly recognize good business practices, with the dual objective of fostering culture through initiatives, programs and actions towards workers and society, and of disseminating it throughout the territory.
The EMPRESA CULTURA award is a distinction for a company that has culture in its DNA, that is, that among other things develops an original program, project or initiative that, due to its uniqueness or exceptionality, has transformative capacity and is innovative based on the promotion of culture.
This award reaches its third edition this year. In previous editions, the awards have gone to the Grup AgriEnergia, an electricity distribution company based in Banyoles, for its decisive and innovative contribution to the world of culture through the field of arts, and to Marc Martí, a group of large-format digital printing companies, with transversal corporate social responsibility actions focused on cultural, sports, solidarity, environmental and equality fields.
For the current edition, the EMPRESA CULTURA jury will be formed by the president of the Giró group, Ezequiel Giró; Elvira Dyangani Ose, director of MACBA; Marc Martí, advisor to the Marc Martí company; Mar Nogareda, executive vice president of Hipra, and Ferran Rodés, executive president of ISP.
