The role of Werther falls to the tenor from San Sebastián Xabier Anduaga, who faces this role from the great French repertoire for the first time, one of the most demanding due to its vocal and dramatic intensity. With this interpretation, the singer delves into a character marked by passion, amorous obsession, and the emotional drift that define the literary myth, based on Goethe's story The Sorrows of Young Werther.
