Tradeinn continues unstoppable. The online sports equipment sales company closes 2024 with record revenue: 555 million euros. The sports group has grown by 12% compared to the previous year's results, when it invoiced around 500 million euros. To meet an ever-increasing demand, the brand is now immersed in a major expansion process of its central warehouse, located in Celrà (Girona).

The company was born from a small diving shop in Estartit (Baix Empordà). Founded by the Dutchman Roland den Hartog in 1997, the owner decided to partner with IntercomGi to launch his online store. But it wasn't until 2008, with the arrival of the computer scientist David Martín ---current CEO of the brand--- that sales began to skyrocket. Martín decided to rebrand the company and expand the market to sell all kinds of sports products.

The company has seen a generalized increase in demand this 2024, but above all, cycling products have increased the most. Martín has emphasized that the key to the company's success lies in "improving processes, creating sales opportunities by opening up to new countries and new brands and, above all, attracting and retaining customers." According to CMD Sports, after rejecting Decathlon's purchase proposal, the group continues to explore investment alternatives to expand its business.

The positive results that the company has been chaining for years will translate this 2025 into a significant expansion of the central warehouse in Celrà. The works, which will increase the surface area of the logistics center from the current 35,000 square meters to 50,000 square meters, are expected to be completed in summer. With this expansion, the brand wants to significantly multiply its sales capacity, and they expect to go from 30,000 daily orders to "shipping between 140,000 and 150,000", according to its CEO. In addition to these facilities, the company also has a logistics center in Pulheim (Germany), with a total area of 6,000 square meters.
