A View from the Bridge
- Teatre Goya
- From October 16 to November 29, 2026
- Tickets available here
The Teatre Goya premieres this week A View from the Bridge, an essential classic by Arthur Miller under the direction of Sílvia Munt. In 1955 Brooklyn, a community of Italian immigrants lives under a strict code of honor and loyalty.
The arrival of clandestine relatives brings out in the protagonist, Eddie Carbone, a hidden obsession for his niece that will lead him to betray his own family and break the code of silence of the port of New York. Headed by a cast with David Selvas, Laura Conejero, Laura Gaja, Eduard Buch, Nil Cardoner and Jan D. Casablancas, the production analyzes how uncontrolled desire can transform into violence and possession.
All the Angels Took Flight
- Teatre Romea
- From October 15 to 25, 2026
- Tickets available here
The Teatre Romea presents All the Angels Took Flight, the new creation by La Zaranda. This historic company is faithful to its independent spirit and a unique poetic language to delve into the margins of society to talk about human vulnerability from a humorous and poetic point of view.
The show delves into the limits between reality and fiction, to make the stage an offering to silenced voices. The proposal seeks cracks of light and meaning in the midst of a terrible world. Because theater is a territory of risk, mystery, and cultural resistance.

We, the Nameless
- Teatre Tantarantana
- From October 14 to November 8, 2026
The Teatre Tantarantana presents We, the Nameless, a creation by the company Mos Maiorum written by Joan Yago and directed by Ireneu Tranis. The show takes as its common thread the memoirs of Joan Garcia Oliver, a key figure in anarcho-syndicalism and the Catalan libertarian movement, to build a collective history about the men and women who stood up to dictatorships, wars, and miseries at the beginning of the 20th century.
The work is structured as an immersive theatrical experience that unites the utopias of the past with the questions and concerns of the present. Through fragmented documents and testimonies, the audience transforms into a time traveler to understand the mentality, longings, desires, and fears of a generation that fought to transform society from its foundations.
Looking for a flat!
- Apolo Theatre
- From October 16 to November 14, 2026
- Tickets available here
The Apolo Theatre hosts the premiere of Busco pis! Un musical en lloguer temporal (Looking for a flat! A temporary rental musical), a satire on the housing crisis written and directed by Xavi Morató, with music composition and direction by Gerard Sesé. The plot focuses on the difficulties of becoming independent in a city dominated by speculation and inaccessible prices.
The story follows Laia, a thirty-six-year-old woman who still lives at her parents' house and desperately tries to find a place to live. Her path crosses with the celebration of the BCN Sell&Rent Village, the most important real estate congress in the city, where she will be immersed in a spiral of entanglements and will encounter all the agents in the sector: salespeople with green ties, large landlords, investment funds, expats, and politicians looking for a photo.
Pere Arquillué: Broken Coral
- Heartbreak Hotel
- From October 12 to 18, 2026
The Heartbreak Hotel programs Coral romput (Broken Coral), a reading and recitation of one of Vicent Andrés Estellés's most emblematic poems by actor Pere Arquillué. The piece, written by the Valencian poet following the painful loss of his daughter, proposes a revision of existence, memory, and the meaning of artistic creation.
The show pays homage both to the figure of Estellés and to the historical dissemination work carried out by Ovidi Montllor and Toti Soler. On this occasion, Arquillué's recitation merges live with guitarist and performer Carles Coronado. The result is a poetic and musical experience in an intimate format.

The last night with my brother
- Teatre Nacional de Catalunya
- From October 15 to November 1, 2026
The Sala Gran of the TNC presents La última noche con mi hermano (The last night with my brother), a new production written and directed by Alfredo Sanzol. The piece deals with fraternity, grief, and shared memory based on the dialogue and memory of the last night spent between two brothers before the loss.
We are facing a text that moves between comedy and rawness to delve into family ties, into all that remains unsaid when a loved one leaves, and into the need to remember to reconstruct one's own identity. An intimate story that combines human sensitivity with Sanzol's characteristic style.
Mamma (Piccole tragedie minimali)
- Teatre Akadèmia
- From October 16 to 18, 2026
Teatre Akadèmia hosts the show Mamma (Piccole tragedie minimali), the last text written by Italian playwright Annibale Ruccello before his premature death in 1986. Forty years after its creation, Enrico Ianniello and Fabrizia Sacchi revive this visionary work structured as a monologue in four parts to revisit the archetypes of motherhood from the absurd and tragedy.
The play presents displaced and trapped female figures in comical realities: from a bitter reinterpretation of Neapolitan fairy tales to a woman admitted to a mental asylum who believes herself to be the Virgin Mary, passing through soap opera confusions and family tragedies. A portrait as harsh as it is lucid about the inability to face the outside world.
