The tiles of Barcelona that travel the world

Barcelona has a great hidden treasure: works of art located in its streets. They are pieces by great international artists, but many times we pass by without realizing their existence. Today we learn about the collective art project Baldosas por el mundo (Tiles for the World), an initiative by architect Joan Juncosa to revalue the beauty of public space. The artist paints modernist fabric tiles and leaves them in different places in the city, inviting citizens to unhook them and place them in their favorite places in the world.

"If you find one of these tiles in Barcelona, you can take it, it's yours! With one condition: take it to your favorite place, hang it up and share it with the world." #baldosasporelmundo @JUNCOSA_BCN
