1978, Barcelona. I am very much from the Gràcia neighborhood and always lived near Parc Güell, where my school was. A fantastic excuse to cross Gaudí's magical world every day. A Journalism graduate, my passion since childhood. Only once did I doubt what to study; an art teacher spoke to me about the steatopygous Venuses of the Paleolithic with overflowing passion, and he infected me. Art stirred me inside. Nevertheless, journalism was the career I chose, and at only twenty years old, I was already working on the most-watched television program in the entire country. I focused on entertainment and sports journalism for many years: at Mediaset, at TV3, the Godó Group's television, or at BarçaTV, among other media, presenting and directing programs. Time I used to become a small art collector. I am also co-founder of a family winery in Penedés, a brand very sensitive to the world of art and that produces singular and unique wines (like good art!). This also helped me to pause my television career and think a few years later: Why don't I propose talking about our art, what we encounter every day, and unfortunately often ignore? And it is here, inThe New Barcelona Post, where I propose to talk about and get to know two of my passions: urban art and Barcelona. For me, a perfect pairing.
