The Swedish telecommunications group Telavox has opened this Thursday in Barcelona its global R&D&I hub and support for the markets in which the company operates. The headquarters, located in the city center, will employ 40 people of seven nationalities and consists of a 400 square meter space. Televox has a turnover of 70 million euros and is a cloud telecommunications group that offers telephony, messaging, meeting and contact center services to companies in Europe. The company has been operating in the market for 20 years and has more than 90 in-house developers and more than 50 consultants.
As Telavox explained in a statement, the hub is a "key piece" for its expansion plan. The decision to open it in Barcelona reinforces the role of Numintec, a Catalan company that joined the group two years ago and has allowed the Swedish company to extend its activity from Northern Europe and the United Kingdom to the south of the European continent.
In fact, Numintec will become a "strategic piece" of the Telavox group, they assure. The Catalan company has a workforce of 64 people, offers telecommunications services for companies and has more than a thousand clients from sectors such as health, insurance, technology and industry.
