An exact total of 15,134 visitors, 650 companies, and 250 events have once again made SIL a global meeting point for the logistics, transport, and supply chain sectors. In a record-breaking edition, SIL also facilitated more than 7,300 digital contact exchanges, 2,800 meeting requests, and 12,000 messages between attendees, through its digital platform SIL Virtual IA Platform, which maximized interrelations within the exhibition.

Organized by the Consorci de la Zona Franca de Barcelona, SIL brought together a wide range of exhibitors for three days, who showcased more than 160 worldwide exclusive novelties on technological solutions, innovations, and specialized services in areas such as AI applied to different parts of the logistics chain; robotics to optimize intralogistics; alternative fuels for freight transport; the use of virtual reality to foster logistics talent; autonomous vehicles for the last mile; sustainable logistics mobility, and 4.0 solutions for logistics monitoring, control, and security.

"Logistics is a sector that has to adapt every day because things are in constant motion," defended the special delegate of the State in the CZFB, Pere Navarro. The also president of SIL claimed that the exhibition has confirmed that "the sector is permanently innovating and responding to needs, without stopping for a second." And all this, in an exhibition already consolidated on an international scale: "We have verified that SIL is a global brand," and not only in Europe, but worldwide, according to him.

In fact, 30% of the companies that participated in the exhibition were international, and the event received visitors from 80 countries. Beyond their origin, the profile of the visitors corresponds to positions involved in decision-making in their respective companies ---in 94% of cases---, as highlighted by the general director of the CZFB and SIL, Blanca Sorigué.

This edition has also stood out for the participation of more than a hundred startups that have showcased their solutions applied to the logistics sector. In addition, the Digital Supply Chain Exhibition has brought together, for the second consecutive year, professionals interested in delving into the functioning of a digital supply chain. In this regard, the 15 participating companies from the Barcelona Free Zone ecosystem have explained how their innovative solutions work and how they optimize each phase of the supply chain.

Given this innovative landscape, SIL has exceptionally recognized not one, but two best innovations in this edition. On the one hand, it has distinguished the Escola Europea---Intermodal Transport with its Port Virtual Lab innovation, an online simulation platform that transforms training in logistics and port operations, combining realism, digitalization, and practice through serious games, in which users assume various roles in real international logistics chains.

On the other hand, it has awarded Sislog for its AI Platform for optimization and predictive analysis in logistics, which improves interaction with companies' logistics management systems. With this new solution, users can perform advanced queries and generate reports directly from the database, without the need for technical or programming knowledge, solving in seconds questions that allow for faster decision-making, improving operational accuracy.

SIL, where Ebro Factory announced its expansion in the Free Zone, has also hosted the Barcelona Port Community Day, which has become a meeting point for all organizations linked to the Port of Barcelona, to analyze strategic issues, exchange action plans, and establish new collaborative relationships to continue positioning Barcelona as a benchmark.
