The SIL Barcelona will hold a new edition from June 3 to 5 at Fira de Barcelona Montjuïc with automation, new technologies, and logistics resilience as the main protagonists. Organized by the Consorci de la Zona Franca de Barcelona (CZFB), this year's event will bring together more than 600 companies, nearly 80 startups, and more than 250 international experts in one of the main European events linked to logistics, transport, intralogistics, and supply chain.
Under the slogan "Smart solutions that move the world", the fair will celebrate its twenty-eighth edition in a context marked by technological acceleration and increasing pressure on global supply chains. The exhibition will also serve as a showcase for innovation, with more than 160 new products linked to automation, digitalization, sustainability, and predictive analysis.
Among this year's main novelties are the new SIL Lab and the IA Corner space, specifically focused on the applications of artificial intelligence within the supply chain. Both will host live demonstrations, practical workshops, and specialized sessions on automation, predictive analysis, and decision-making using AI.
The 2026 edition will also incorporate a new version of the Digital Supply Chain Exhibition, an immersive installation that will recreate a completely digitized supply chain with the help of 17 technology companies. "SIL is an event that vindicates the usefulness of logistics and its permanent capacity to innovate," said the executive president of the CZFB and president of the event, Pere Navarro, during the official presentation.
"Logistics connects people, connects companies, connects talent, and connects opportunities."
The content program of SIL Knowledge will bring together more than 250 international speakers to analyze the impact that geopolitics, the new commercial context, and digitalization are having on the supply chain. Among the new conferences this edition, the International Trade Summit and the Spain Air Cargo Day stand out, which will join other spaces dedicated to sustainability, railway logistics, leadership, and innovation. The event will also bring together companies from across the supply chain, especially linked to transport, intralogistics, technology, and infrastructure. Close to 30% of the exhibiting companies will be international, coming from countries such as Germany, China, the United States, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, and Switzerland.
The general director of CZFB and of the event, Blanca Sorigué, has also highlighted the strategic profile of the professional visitor. According to organization data, 93% of attendees participate in their companies' decision-making and 77% do so directly. Beyond the commercial exhibition, the fair will also reinforce its dimension as a networking and business space. Throughout the three days, more than 150 professional events promoted by the participating companies themselves will be held, in addition to initiatives such as the Dakar Logistics Experience.

Attendees will also have specific spaces for B2B meetings, such as the SIL Networking Zone, as well as digital tools to plan their visit even before the fair begins. Through the SIL Platform, users will be able to organize agendas, schedule meetings, and access a virtual assistant based on artificial intelligence, SILvIA.
The event will also maintain initiatives linked to talent attraction and entrepreneurship, such as the Startup Meeting Area or the Job Market Place, promoted together with Barcelona Activa, where different companies will carry out selection processes linked to logistics departments. According to organization data, 42% of visitors come interested in learning about the latest developments in the logistics field, while 39% do so to visit exhibiting companies, consolidating Barcelona as one of the major international meeting points for the logistics sector.
