The New Barcelona Post has been awarded by the Fundació Impulsa Talentum with the Talent in Communication and Media Award. The entity's board has justified this recognition for the work carried out over the last three years by TheNBP "to become a benchmark in the field of digital communications in Catalonia, combining the quality of the communicative product with an attractive graphic design and innovative themes, making it quickly position itself as one of the main reference digital media in Catalonia."

The Talent award was presented this Wednesday at the stand that the Fundació Impulsa Talentum has had this week at the Integrated Systems Europe ISE 2024 fair, at the Gran Via exhibition center. The editor of The New Barcelona Post, Guillem Carol, and its director, Sergi Saborit, were in charge of collecting the award from the prestigious publicist Lluís Bassat and Bru Recolons, president of the foundation. The general director of ISE, Michael Blackman, is one of the two vice-presidents of the board, along with businessman Tatxo Benet.

The New Barcelona Post began its journey at the end of September 2020, in the midst of the pandemic, with the purpose of contributing to enhancing the brand and assets of Barcelona in the business, scientific, cultural, and social spheres. With the foundational motto Good News, True Stories, it is an independent journalistic project, with an innovative digital format, that aspires to be the voice of companies, people, and institutions that want to make Barcelona the best place to live, work, and invest in the Mediterranean. The digital publication is part of Must Media, a business group that also includes the agency Giny Comunicació and the production company Incís Films.

The Talent Awards promoted by the Fundació Impulsa Talentum recognize 30 entrepreneurs, companies, and innovative projects. This year they have reached their tenth edition and aim to recognize good practices, trajectories, and innovative ideas by entrepreneurs, businessmen, entities, and companies in some thirty different sectors. In this edition, initiatives such as Palau Martorell and the Global Esport Summit have also been awarded; companies such as Gate2Brain, Opground, Vegtus, Editorial Efadós, and 011H; technological equipment such as the MareNostrum supercomputer (BSC-CNS) and professionals such as Marc Morillas and Bernat Vivancos.

Within the framework of ISE, the Fundació Impulsa Talentum is organizing a conference this Friday on talent in the audiovisual field, with the participation of Blackman and Benet and other experts such as Marcos Urarte (Phraros), Albert Riba (Sapiens Mindset) and Miquel Rutllant, CEO of Lavinia and president of the Audiovisual Cluster of Catalonia. "The objective is to provide attendees with the latest news, trends and strategies to attract, engage and promote talent," highlights the entity.

The Fundació Impulsa Talentum, whose honorary president is Federico Mayor Zaragoza, has a ten-year track record working in the ecosystem of talent, innovation and organizational management. Its objective is to improve the organizational culture in the business sector and the management and retention of talent.

The award ceremony took place at the Fundació Impulsa Talentum stand at the ISE audiovisual fair.
