The New Barcelona Post adds new travel companions with the aim of strengthening its content and expanding the community of readers who love Barcelona. Starting this week, the young publication from Must Media Group will multiply its offering of gastronomy articles thanks to the alliance forged with the gastronomic portal Baco & Boca, which has just celebrated 10 years of passionately reporting on restaurants, wines, gastro-escapes, and the protagonists of a constantly evolving sector.

"Barcelona is an undisputed benchmark in the gastronomy sector, as we have just seen once again with the Michelin gala, so we want to offer our readers a broader menu that allows them to stay up-to-date with everything that is cooking in the city's kitchens and bars," explains Sergi Saborit, director of the publication specialized in positive news that contributes to boosting the Barcelona brand.

"After a decade, it is the perfect time to broaden our horizons and also reach the readers of The New Barcelona Post, with whom we share a Barcelona soul, journalistic rigor, and always good news. The alliance encourages us to enrich content, incorporate new contributors, and spread gastronomic curiosity and the desire to uncork a new bottle among those who follow us. We toast to this new stage," highlight journalists Patricia Castán and Isabel Acevedo, spokespersons for Baco & Boca.

The gastronomic portal was founded in 2013 by Luisa Ramos (1968-2020), who decided to make a radical change in her life to dedicate herself to what she truly loved: discovering and sharing her enogastronomic discoveries. "Baco & Boca, wines and delicacies for humble gourmets, is my declaration of principles," said Ramos when launching her project. "Luisa left too soon ---they recall---, but she left us a vigorous Baco y Boca, hungry for articles and followers; with body, like the great wines she so loved to discover and tell about. With much still to explain, as she would have wanted."

With the same humility and honesty with which she undertook this project, today her friends and colleagues, Patricia Castán, Isabel Acevedo, and other collaborators who knew her and know that what she would have liked most was for her B&B to continue discovering "wines and delicacies for humble gourmets" to readers, keep it alive.

With this association, The New Barcelona Post wants to pay tribute to the founder of the blog and contribute to increasing the notoriety of Baco & Boca so that it consolidates itself as a benchmark in gastronomic information in the city. The alliance will notably reinforce the Lifestyle section of our magazine, where readers can find interviews and articles from many other fields such as design, fashion, commerce, well-being, crafts, tourism and the hotel sector, along with leisure proposals aimed at all audiences.
